Boating Adventure !

Wohoo ! Finally the long awaited boating. The four of us (Zhiyi, myself, Yuxiang & Yukuan) We rented the Diana class boat from SAF yatch club Sembawang. Excited excited ! 4 hours rental for $180, we find it's rather cheap. No Cabin , no toilet, still very ok. We bring FOOD and water playing Tools out for our SEA adventure ! and the boys love the water playing session, the makan session and the bumpy boat ride !

After two rounds of self-trial, Zhiyi decided to go for the BIG ONE. We charter the boat which could take up to 11 pax and comes with a toilet on Chen mama's birthday - 15 July (smiles). so we kinda "forced" them to go boating with us. ke ke ke and you bet they enjoyed the sun, water, and breeze. This time we set off from Change Yatch club and the skipper, Mr Lawrence brought us to Lazarus Island (refer to map for location).

After an hour ride, here we are...Lazarus Island and ...we were not alone. There were quite a number of private boats (much bigger ones) there too.

The water is so clear that ZHiyi, Jiewen and I decided to take a swim from the boat to the shore and back again ! The boys also wanted to swim too so after some precautionary measures, they had their 1st swim in OPEN WATERS !

This photo was taken before the boys had their swim. They were looking at another group of Ang Mos. Their boat had many many children Just a little bigger than them jumping into the water from their boat, they also had banana boat, imagine 5 little kids sitting on the boat. haha

We also went to the other side of the island where we "parked" the boat and went onshore ! YuKuan had another swim while Yuxiang played the sand.

And dad gave mum a bday present - a coconut from the island ! keke too bad he dont want to pose in front of the camera with that coconut he plucked. SO we had Yuxiang & Wendy posing instead.

Time to go back. Look at the sun set, nice. Yuxiang posing with papa and mama. and we have the bride-to-be wrapping herself with towel. And we return to yatch club, the boys had their another 1st time at the pool with slide too.

That time, they tasted salt water and pool water. It made them a little unwell but everyone had an enjoyable experience. Too bad, Xueyan dont feel too comfortable taking boat ride now that she's still in the early stage of her pregnancy, so we only meet Bro & her for dinner after our boat adventure.

Jigsaw Puzzle Sandwich !

Personally I liked this mould alot becoz it basically only cut off the skin of the bread so minimise the wastage of the bread. *thumbs up* and we are ready to set off ! Activity for the day : Cycling. SPeaking of Bread... I got some fake bread... Bread 1 - for Alice Me: Thank you for treating me loti always... Alice: oh, ok, thank u and wanted to eat the bread (suddenly realised it's fake and burst out laughing...) I thought it's real one and want to eat already leh. Bread 2 - for Candy Candy: haha... I thought you really made the bread yourself but was thinking how come so unhygiene to give me without the plastic bag. Pau - for Kitty me: ma, I got a Pau for Kitty (yuxiang @ the background "i wan i wan..." and pressed the pau Hu mama: AYe, cannot press....what is this? dou sa? me: no la, this is fake one. She cant stop laughing. hahaha~ 3 days later... We went outdoor for dinner. Big Oh small Oh. Yellow Yellow looking thrgh binoculars. I thought this is a nice photo (smiles). Zhiyi likes it a lot too.

Sleeping in Tents

I came back home from school last night to learn that my boys are sleeping in tents rather than beds !

This morning I asked them about how they felt sleeping in tents Yuxiang: 这个tent好睡耶。 Yukuan: 玛米，营帐好睡。明天我要跟kor kor exchange 睡。

my super hubby !

I had lessons on 2 consecutive sundays...and my super hubby brought our boys out alone for some sun ! 1st sun... A walk to Yishun Park and its new bridge

And then they got so tired that slp in the car...and zhiyi was relieved for a while...

then they reached somewhere near MBS and they got up to play again !

Then 2nd Sun... Zhiyi prepared hot water and made himself a cup of coffee when the boys took their nap ! So smart !

Very Outdoor Week ~

We went outdoor 3 times in a week ! wohooo haha.

Thursday evening...
Whats app Family Grp Chat beeps ... Bro & Xueyan gg out for cycling. asked if anyone keen too. We were tempted but I hesitated for a while and Zhiyi decided we just bring our boys to Yishun Dam for dinner instead. Before that let's get 2 pkt of TEH on our way there.

and by this time, bro & Xuyan had cycled to Pungpol to see their new flat and back to Yishun Dam.

and of coz their face were both red and shag by the time they reached back Yishun and their leg ache the next 2 days ! ha ha.

Saturday evening...
Huixi came back home for stayover and asked if we have any program.
We decided to go out for road cycling. Went CHen mama hse to borrow bro's bike for Huixi and out we go.

Zhiyi modified the child seat and fitted onto our Brompton bikes... See the pic carefully, the back wheel of the bike was folded in so that it can stand on its own. Rather stressful for Zhiyi as Huixi & I had no road cycling experience. Neither do we have good cycling skills. Rather shag but very nice experience. haa...

Sunday morning !
After breakfast we headed for Marina Barriage ! Really a great place for the boys to run around because it's so spacious ! I like the place.


after that we went Funan to another solar plate for outdoor use, had lunch and off to East Coast Park to POP our tent for afternoon nap. We found a nice place where we can pop our tent right in front of our car ! hee


yes yes ! another step to healthy lifestyle for us & the boys.

Alright, so here's some updates about me, him & our boys !

my current status...i just had my exam a week before CNY, and is still working on my 5,000 research project report.have been working on it for months now and am really happy that each step i take now is bringing me nearer to the destination! See these are the 44 sets of survey that I have collected from our senior colleagues.

and putting them into tables for analysis... wohooo... Look at this !

indescribable feeling of overcoming part by part of that piece of work! yeah!

update on my supporting spouse...as his wish, we are still adventuring into day camps for our boys the most recent one we had was 2 weeks before CNY. This is by far the longest duration of camp...10am-3pm and here's some pics to remember...



and then he got 2 super giant tent frm overseas and we just tried it on cny eve... some pics pics again.


There's gun training session... Yes, because my dear supporting spouse like guns so much, we started buying a few and...we got Jiewen, Gary, Vincent and Gilbert to join us too ! We trained ourselves hard...and even got the girls (Enci & Xinci) to try on the guns) and have one-on-one team fight...




And then we arranged to have our GUN Party during our reunion dinner @ 5th uncle's hse...it's a pity, this is the only shot I managed to take.

haha, Im just amazed by their logical thinking...the sequence of their conversation are all very realistic (smiles).
