YuKuan's growing milestone - I can Sit now !

YuKuan @ 4 mths old.

YuXiang automatically climbs into his wooden chair (behind in the pic) for his cartoon session. To avoid fighting among the boiys, we got YuKuan his own chair.

Heard from Huimin, she saw parents bringing this chair out with them to Orchard to let their baby sit whenever they go ! Sounds like an attractive idea since we have car......

Earlier Xmas Present

Auntie Jessie gave our boys advance XMAS PRESENTS !!!
Ohhh~ so sweet of her.

WOW WOW WOW !

A. a tigger softtoy for Yuxiang whom he affectionately call as "Xiao Lao Hu" (little tiger)

B. a GAP romper for YuKuan but it's still too big for him right now (12-18mths)

C. a musical bear for YuKuan to keep him entertain. (this is actually a full-mth present for him)

Our Australia Gold Coast Trip !!!

We are finally on our way to Australia Gold Coast with Linda, Vincent & KaiKai.

It's a 6-day trip from 02 Nov 09 to 07 Nov 09.

YuKuan is too young to travel, so this time round we only bring YuXiang with us.

It's a mid-night flight and as it was YuXiang 1st time taking a plane, he is so excited that he only fall asleep when the plane took off.

where the warm sand and cold seawater is still new to Yuxiang.

Looks like we have to expose him to beach more often ~

We are sure he will get to love the beach like we do !

Koalas and Kangaroo Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary & a special experience with the Koala...

During a close-up photo shot with a koala, Zhiyi carry the koala while I carry Yuxiang. And as the photographer says " Smile", the koala shitted between the holes of Zhiyi's fingers. YUCK ! ha ha

Merry Time @ Cun You's full mth celebration

1st Nov is our 3rd wedding anniversary. On this special day, JinTang & Yiling celebrates their 1st baby Son - Cun You Full mth. Here we are @ Zhilian having a merry time before our midnight flight to Gold Coast for our 6 days holiday trip.

Henry has new family member and last month we attended Alina's full month celebration.
We had planned to go gold coast with Lina, Vincent and KaiKai on 1st Nov midnight.

@ the baby shower, it's the 1st time YuXiang and KaiKai played together.
Seem like the boys got along very well playing Damien's toys together.

Ladies' envy, Guys' dislike

Horray ! Confinement is over and so SHOPPING here we come !

13th Sep 09 - we went for our officially 1st shopping trip as a family of 4.
As we walked around the shopping mall (MS), many eyes were on us.
Envy from the ladies, and dislike from the guys because ...
my dear hubby had 2 littles guys with him. One at the back and one in front.
let's calculate the total weight...
Yuxiang is 11kg, the backpack is 2 kg, and Yukuan is 3.6kg,
so total weight Zhiyi is cArrying is... 16.6kg !

New Changes , new survival skills to adopt

whew~ oh my god ! I just made it alive on Saturday !
I think I did well, but I reeen ally really exhausted...

Both Zhiyi and Hu mama wasnt at home.
Spare the details ... Zhiyi worked til 930pm that day and Hu mama went back to farm to work that day and evening went to Qing Kou Ban @ TG FT.

BUt LMCB has been very very kind because Huixi came back to Xiang Chi.
Though she was on medication and had to work, but it did helped alot.

There was a liitle interesting episode. While I was in the room feeding YuKuan, YuXiang came into the room smiling @ me with black crayon all over his mouth, hands and shirt. Yes, we bought him his set of washable crayons , but that doesnt mean the crayons are meant for EATING mah !?! Imagine the shock I had when I saw him. Managed to get Huixi's attention and bring him to toilet for wash up. She noticed he had crayon on his teeth as well, and in attempt to clean his teeth, he bite her finger ! She yelled "Ouch" and it only had him bite her harder while he's beaming happily.

We are very special. We have 2 houses, 2 prayer halls, and Zhiyi works in farm (family biz) where his working hours is SUPER LONG. It wont be an easy task to juggle everything especially YuXiang & YuKuan are still young now. It's a challenge but we will continue to encouarge each other to "Jia YOu".

Orgins of our Sons' names

Oh, today we have a fine weather here, cooling morning.
Took a while to settle our new baby arrival, finally ...some time to write/update my e-diary.

Today, I'm going to make an entry on the origin of our sons' names.

1) Oh Yu Xiang, Jay

Yu Xiang is the name chosen by his Ah-gong & Ah-ma from the list of names given by the fengshui master. As for Jay, that's given by his dad & mum. Dad is Joe Oh, mum is Angela Chen, so we wanted our kids' name to start with 'JA'. JAY - stands for Joe, Angela & Yuxiang and it's simple to pronouce that even his great grand mother has no difficulty calling him ! See, how proud his parents are~ haa. And from baby name book which I received from Abbott, Jay means Quick, Lively in old German - well well... looks like our YuXiang is living up to his name ~

2) Oh Yu Kuan, JackThis time round, we requested the fengshui master to have YU as one of the word.
Kuan was chosen as this should be one of the virtues a guy should process. Have a heart big like our laughing buddha. As for Jack, that's because his chinese name as a letter 'K' and also Jack means God is gracious. We want our boys to think of what mother nature has bring to mankind and that one shouldnt only be thinking about himself only.

Well, our dear sons, daddy & mummy have given you a terrific name to start off your life journey...we'll teach you, guide you through your initial years and the rest is up to you. We wish you all the beST AND ALWAYS THINK OF LAO MU AS YOUR GUIDING LAMP.

08/08/2009 - our new family member arrives !

08/08/09 - @ 2258 hours, our baby no. 2 was born !
This is totally unexpected as baby has arrived 5 weeks earlier than the expected due date.

• Yes, initially Dr. Chen & Dr. Lim were a litt;e worried abt this little one as he is premature, a night @ ICU showed that he has no problem breathing on his own @ all. Well, the next concern is feeding. As he's too small (>2.5kg) so feeding directly from mommy is very energy consuming for him. I have been pumping our my breastmilk but the qty will gets smaller and smaller if baby does not latch on directly. We'll see how it goes. for the time now, we'll continue to try. Let's try hard together !

YuXiang's Saturday @ home

That's what we had wished for - YuXiang to be a sunny, health boy!










YuXiang found his daddy's eco-drive watch lying on the stool in the bedroom and he thought he would like to try it on.

A Poem from Him to Me

I'm currently pregnant at 33 weeks,
and is feeling more and more...restricted with my movements.
I feel tired too especially looking after YuXiang alone most of the time on weekends.


To my surprise, my supporting spouse created a POEM for me yesterday. There it goes:

You are my wife, my lovely wife.
A selfless companion of my life.
Your joy is my Joy, your laughter is my.
Through all and all, we make it possible.
You are my soul, my light of guidance.
You light it up, and show the brightness.
In times of doubt, and uncertainly,
Your cheerful smile clear them all out.

No matter when and anywhere,

Of course, I have to put it here for 2 reasons:
