Took a while to settle our new baby arrival, finally ...some time to write/update my e-diary.
Today, I'm going to make an entry on the origin of our sons' names.
1) Oh Yu Xiang, Jay
Yu Xiang is the name chosen by his Ah-gong & Ah-ma from the list of names given by the fengshui master. As for Jay, that's given by his dad & mum. Dad is Joe Oh, mum is Angela Chen, so we wanted our kids' name to start with 'JA'. JAY - stands for Joe, Angela & Yuxiang and it's simple to pronouce that even his great grand mother has no difficulty calling him ! See, how proud his parents are~ haa. And from baby name book which I received from Abbott, Jay means Quick, Lively in old German - well well... looks like our YuXiang is living up to his name ~2) Oh Yu Kuan, Jack
This time round, we requested the fengshui master to have YU as one of the word.
Kuan was chosen as this should be one of the virtues a guy should process. Have a heart big like our laughing buddha. As for Jack, that's because his chinese name as a letter 'K' and also Jack means God is gracious. We want our boys to think of what mother nature has bring to mankind and that one shouldnt only be thinking about himself only.
